You may use our website for lawful business purposes only. You must not:
misuse, attack, scan, disrupt or attempt to compromise the website;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, data or infrastructure;
copy, scrape or harvest website content without permission;
upload or transmit malicious code;
use the website in a way that breaches applicable law or third-party rights;
misrepresent your identity, company or authority to act on behalf of an organisation.
4. Trials and demo access
We may offer free trials, proof-of-concept access or demos at our discretion. Trial or demo access may be limited by time, features, traffic, domains, usage volume or other conditions.
We may refuse, suspend or terminate trial access if we believe it is being misused, used for unlawful purposes, used to attack or test third-party systems without authorisation, or used in a way that creates risk for CrownWall, our infrastructure or other customers.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers and users are responsible for:
ensuring they have authority to use CrownWall for the relevant domains, websites, applications and infrastructure;
providing accurate onboarding and configuration information;
maintaining secure access credentials;
managing their own applications, origin servers, code, data and internal systems;
complying with applicable laws, regulations and contractual obligations;
ensuring that any security testing is authorised and lawful.
CrownWall does not replace the customer’s responsibility to maintain secure applications, infrastructure, access controls and operational procedures.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use CrownWall services to:
host, transmit or distribute malware, phishing content or harmful code;
conduct unauthorised scanning, exploitation or attacks;
infringe intellectual property rights;
process unlawful, harmful, abusive or fraudulent content;
interfere with CrownWall systems, other customers or third-party services;
attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls or billing controls.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe there is a security, legal, operational or reputational risk.
7. Service availability
We aim to provide reliable and secure services. However, we do not guarantee that the website or services will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.
Service availability, support response times and service levels may be governed by a separate order form, service agreement, SLA or managed service contract.
8. Security
CrownWall uses security controls designed to protect our systems and services. However, no technology can guarantee complete protection against every threat.
Customers remain responsible for their own application security, software updates, identity management, access control, backups, incident response and compliance obligations.
9. Pricing and payment
Pricing, billing terms and payment obligations will be set out in the relevant order form, proposal, invoice, subscription plan or service agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are payable in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of purchase. We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment, subject to applicable law and any agreed contract terms.
10. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the CrownWall website, platform, software, documentation, designs, branding, logos, content and technology remain owned by CrownWall or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, reproduce, distribute, resell or create derivative works from CrownWall services unless expressly permitted in writing.
11. Customer data
Customer data remains the property of the customer or relevant rights holder. CrownWall may process customer data as necessary to provide, secure, support, monitor and improve the services, subject to our Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement.
12. Confidentiality
During discussions, demos, trials or service delivery, either party may receive confidential information from the other. Each party agrees to protect confidential information and not disclose it except where necessary to provide or receive the services, comply with law, or as otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Third-party services
CrownWall may integrate with or rely on third-party infrastructure, hosting, analytics, communications, security or payment providers. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, although we will take reasonable care in selecting and managing providers where they support our services.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrownWall will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Specific liability limits may be set out in a separate contract, order form or service agreement.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website or services if:
you breach these Terms;
payment is overdue;
your use creates security, operational or legal risk;
we are required to do so by law;
a trial, demo or subscription period ends.
Upon termination, your right to use the relevant services will end.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page. For material changes affecting active customers, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
